NDREA Continuous Improvement
North Dakota’s Regional Education Associations (NDREAs) have established a shared Continuous Improvement Process designed to strengthen organizational effectiveness, accountability, and the quality of services provided to schools and districts. The process reflects the values of transparency, collaboration, and school-focused service while creating a consistent framework for REAs to examine current practices, identify opportunities for growth, and demonstrate continuous improvement.
The four-year improvement cycle includes Self-Assessment, Strategic Planning, Self-Assessment Reporting, and External Review. REAs examine evidence across four domains: Purpose, Leadership & Governance; Programs & Services; Resource Management & Agency Capacity; and Stakeholder Engagement & Communication. The External Review brings outside perspectives into the process to validate practices, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for continued growth.
NESC’s Commitment to Continuous Improvement
At NESC, continuous improvement is embedded in how we evaluate our work, respond to the evolving needs of schools and partners, and strengthen the programs and services we provide. We value the opportunity to reflect on evidence, learn from others, and use feedback to inform meaningful organizational improvement. NESC is scheduled to participate in its NDREA External Review in Fall 2026, providing an opportunity to examine our practices through an external lens and identify next steps for continued growth.
